Often in our lives we feel fearful about many things; public speaking, job loss, financial difficulties, death, loss of a relationship, illness, and I could go on and on.

I find myself sometimes experiencing panic attacks and anxiety – usually not even having a reason for either one. I’ve learned to take deep breaths and “speak away” the feelings, and most of all, I’ve learned to pray and to turn to God’s Word for my comfort. Continue reading “THE SPIRIT OF GOD”


If you ever wonder how far away God is, Psalm 139 tells us just how close He really is, and how well He knows us. What a wonderful Father we have in God! The intimacy of His presence in our lives is a matter for joy!

O Lord, You have searched me and known me. You know my sitting down and my rising up; You understand my thought afar off. You comprehend my path and my lying down, and are acquainted with all my ways. For there is not a word on my tongue, but behold, O Lord, You know it altogether.
